Whilst on an overnight trip why not enrol in the
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course.
The Advanced diving course will increase your diving knowledge
and experience under the guidance of our professional
diving instructors.
The PADI Advanced Diver Course is diving education
to the extreme.
Five training dives present
you with new challenges.
There are Three core Dives:
- Advanced Navigation Dive
- Advanced Night Dive
- Advanced Deep Dive (30m/100ft)
plus
two additional Dives selected from the PADI Advanced training
program:
- Advanced Boat Dive
- Advanced Search and Recovery Dive
- Advanced Underwater Naturalist Dive
- Advanced Multilevel Dive
- Advanced Photography Dive
- Advanced Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive
- Advanced AWARE Fish Identification Dive
All five Advanced training Dives, place you in
confidence mode to boost your
personal Diving experience. Training is conducted by Deep Sea Divers
Den Instructors on board our Liveaboard Diving vessels over 3
days and 2 nights.
The PADI Advanced course is the prerequisite
to the PADI Diver Rescue
course. As a PADI Rescue Diver you'll learn to prevent and manage
problems, sharpen your observation skills and help others avoid
problems while diving.

Itinerary
DAY ONE
- 8.00am pick up from your Cairns accommodation.
- Equipment selection aboard ReefQuest our transfer diving
vessel.
- Complete 2 fun dives
aboard ReefQuest to get back into the swing of things.
- At 2.30pm transfer to OceanQuest, the liveaboard dive vessel
where you will spend the next 3 days.
- Elective #1 and Night
training dives.
- Lunch, dinner and accommodation included.
DAY TWO
- Deep and Navigation
training dives
- plus two pleasure
dives
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner and accommodation included.
DAY THREE
- Elective #2 training
dive plus two pleasure
dives
- A total of 11 scuba dives are possible on the trip
- Advanced certification
- Breakfast, and lunch are included
Return to your accommodation about 5pm
- 7.30pm - Party Time! Join the boat crew & passengers
at a local restaurant.

Additional costs to be paid directly:
- AUD$10 per day at sea - Reef & Port Authority Charge
- AUD$5 per day at sea - Fuel levy
- AUD$5 - passport photos x 2 for certification
- If undertaking a PADI course you are required to fill in
the PADI
medical statement. If you answer yes to any of the questions on this form
you will be required to then undergo a medical assessment to Australian Standards
A.S 4005-1.
