5 Day with Pro Dive

Learn to dive, Cairns Australia Pro Dives' training centre is located in the city of Cairns and features all the modern facilities need to learn to dive. Pro Dive also boast Cairns deepest dive pool. At 4.5 metres in the middle students get and excellent idea of what pressure feels like under water.

Learn to dive, Cairns Australia The first two days are spent learning the theory and underwater skills of diving.

The next 3 days are spent living on board one of our premium purpose built vessels. Your first 4 dives will complete your open water certification and then as certified diver you are able to undertake up to 5 more pleasure dives. This includes a night dive! These dives will be exciting and truly memorable. The night of your return to Cairns, join the crew and fellow passengers for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 1 - Academic and Pool Training

08:45 Academic Training in the classroom
13:00 Medical and Lunch break (Lunch not included)

DAY 2 - Academic and Pool Training

12:30 Equipment preparation for Reef Trip at Dive Shop

14:00 Academic Training in the classroom and Final exam

DAY 3 - Diving the Outer Great Barrier Reef

06:15 Check-In at Dive Shop, cnr Sheilds and Abbott Sts, Cairns
07:00 Depart Cairns for 3days 2nights of fantastic diving on the Great Barrier Reef
11:00 Your first Training Dive in the ocean. Lunch will then be served
14:00 2nd training dive and then heaps of snorkeling time

DAY 4 - More Great Diving

06:30 Third Training Dive before Breakfast. This will be the deepest training dive for your certification
10:30 The last Training Dive for your PADI Open Water Certification Course. Now You are a Certified Diver!!!
14:30 Your first pleasure dive as a certified diver
19:00 A guided night dive after dinner. Another great experience!

DAY 5 - More Diving and Return to Cairns

06:00 Three more pleasure dives before lunch
15:30 Return to Cairns

2 x passport photos needed for certification
All stationary requirements needed for classroom activities.
PADI Gold Open Water Certificate
Accommodation transfers daily (city and Northern Beaches)
All dive equipment (use of prescription mask if necessary)
PADI Open Water Manual in English, German, French, Dutch, Danish or Swedish. Other language manuals available if required

Inclusions - At Sea

2 nights twin share accommodation on board vessel
All meals whilst on board
Bed linen - (no towel included)
All dive equipment (including Dive Computer and Long leg wetsuit)
Use of prescription mask if necessary

An additional fee of $10.00 per person per day is payable direct to Pro Dive Cairns.This fee consists of $15.00 Government Environmental Management Charge as well as a Port Departure Tax, Fuel Levy and administration costs and will be collected at check in

Tread water 10 minutes
Dive Medical
Minimum age 12 subject to medical
Special flying after diving rules apply
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or adult over the age of 18.
