We recommend all expedition members stay at accommodation
at the beachside suburb of “Glenelg” when staying overnight
in Adelaide. Backpacker Inns to luxury hotels, are all available
and the following options are all within easy walking distance to
the Rodney Fox Shark Museum, where we often hold “welcome”
gatherings prior to Adelaide departures. This is also where we collect
and deliver passengers for group bus transfers to and from the Falie.
Many passengers also enjoy spending time basing themselves in Glenelg
and particularly at the shark museum when on shore. Glenelg is very
close to shopping, restaurants and the Historic Tram into the Adelaide
City centre. (20 min) and also very convenient to the Adelaide Airport
(15 min. by Taxi).

Hilton Motor Inn 4 star Motel
Nice quiet and modern comfortable motel with restaurant,
located in close proximity to the Main Wharf of Port Lincoln where
we load and unload passengers. This is 10-15 minutes walking distance
From the Falie’s usual berth at the main Wharf. (Without heavy
luggage.) Passengers disembarking
Falie at 10.30 pm on their night of their stay
